I sat here yesterday evening with a flask of coffee and a chocolate biscuit. Yesterday was the first time in a long time that I’ve felt well enough to do something that made me feel better. The simple things. This is my go to place.

I have a place like this too on the highway.
I go there when I want to be alone. Thereβs an abandoned bus stop, I sit there for as long as I can.

It’s a beautiful place to sit and chill Stella. I normally climb up and sit on the rock face but wasn’t feeling energetic

What a beautiful place to reflect. Looks like you’re the same as me, have lovely places in walking distance to stroll into (I am in the Ribble Valley).

Perfect spot for a mental break. Looks like a great spot to have a long conversation with a good friend too, or a good book to read.

It certainly is. I’ve spent many hours up there chatting to friends, putting the world to rights. I used to go up there at 7am many years ago and go for a run, disturbing the goats and sheep. I love it.

Yes, it’s hard even trying to keep up with writing posts on my blog. I used to write a post in under an hour, now it can take all day and it wears me out mentally to do that. Reading has just been out of the question for me, it’s amazing what a strain it is. Now I feel so bad getting so far behind, I know I can never catch up so I decided to just start now and try to keep up. This virus really hit me, I sometimes wonder if I’ll be the same again. Some things are improving, other things seem to be getting worse. My whole body is just so weak all the time. Oh well, these things happen, just need to keep pressing on! Or falling down!
I hope you feel better soon John. Take care!
