After a day that was pebble-dashed from the anus of Satan. Angie and I took a cold drink and a drive to sit and relax at Curbar Gap.
This has been my go-to place for years to sooth the tension. Love this place.

You’ve mentioned this spot before John, a couple of years back. Satan’s arse didn’t figure in that post. I appreciated its inclusion this time. π€£π€£

Yes, that’s right Kev. Love the place, so relaxing to sit and stir into the hills.

It’s on my Peak list whenever I next visit.

Defo worth the visit mate. If you and Maureen need a place to stop when you come up, there’s always a room at ours.

If and when we visit, I’ll bear your offer in mind mate. Aren’t you worried that I might be a serial killer?

Na, I get on with Serial killers, they’re the most entertaining people.
Seriously mate, you’re both more than welcome ππ

Okay, so when Kev plans his visit, I’ll come too. We’ll have a picnic at Curbar Gap! Have you two met yet? Or all we all “strangers” to one another? Maybe we’re ALL serial killers, lol !!

Lol we haven’t met. But you’re welcome Sel. Just give me a heads up so I can prepare the ritual sacrifices π€£π€£

I’ve had two months of that. Terrible business. Tis good to see the horizon in the Peak District, it’s been too long since I drove out, and I know much of the area but have never been here, so will note it down to visit. It isn’t far from my favourite place of all, Padley Gorge, if you haven’t been there I highly recommend it, a tad up and down but like being in a Tolkien book.

Ahhh Padley Gorge. Love it, I go there a few times every year. But Curbar Gap is a place to behold Esme. I’ll see you there with a flask of tea ?

Ha! You will, butties and a sticky bun to boot. It’s marvellous finding new gems, thank you John.
