Morning mate.
It’s possibly the best job I’ve ever had but it’s frustrating when I go the extra mile with what a client needs and then get pulled up by the manager because I’m not supposed to deviate from the psp.
Person centred plan. We’re not supposed to do anything extra to what’s in the psp. Load of codswallop mate.
I do what’s necessary (psp) and listen to the person, find out what they really need and try to help them get there.
I’m forever getting told off by management, but I carry on anyway. Interestingly, the social workers agree with what I try to do.
